Saturday, May 7 is “Spring Fling” in downtown Northfield: special shopping and special programming all day in Bridge Square. It’s also the 2nd Annual “Run (or Walk) Downtown” sponsored by the NDDC. Take a 2.1 mile tour around the perimeter of downtown. Registration begins at 8 am at Bridge Square and the gun goes off at 9. Costumes and other forms of fun are encouraged. You may need your knickers.
