At today’s Arts, Recreation and Culture Committee Meeting, attended by Rebecca Bazan (NAG), Dixon Bond (Council), Patsy Dew (NAG), Sam Demas (Carleton), Sue Lloyd (Artist), Jill Enestvedt (Artist), Bardwell Smith (NDDC) and Ross Currier (NDDC), Tom Clough (Consultant) gave an update on his work on ArtsPlan’06. One of the topics discussed was getting Northfield recognized as an Art Town. Tom suggested that it’s not just about art, getting such recognition includes making the community an attractive destination. Tom suggested that perhaps Northfield should more vigorously pursue outside dining.
