How could an event be anything but a success with the weather that we enjoyed on Saturday? Entrants in the NDDC’s Bring Your Bike Downtown drawing ranged in ages from 7 to 70. Although the prize-winners are listed below, every bicyclists who came downtown on Saturday enjoyed the rewards of being outdoors on one of those unmatched Minnesota weather days, in downtown Northfield.
Perhaps the most exciting moment of the morning was completely unplanned. Bill Ostrem, someone looking for funding for bicycle and pedestrian safety planning, met Carolyn Link, someone with suggestions about a potential source of funding for bicycle and pedestrian safety planning, at Bring Your Bike Downtown.
