As the sounds of the Northfield Community Band Concerts and the sparkles of the 4th of July Fireworks begin to fade, don’t worry, be happy, ’cause the action continues in Downtown Northfield.

In fact, the over hundred year tradition of Thursday night community cultural celebrations in Bridge Square, the very heart of Northfield, continues through the summer. (One of these days, probably in the very near future, noted historians Maggie Lee, in the Northfield News, and Dan Bergeson, in this NDDC web log, will share the long history of programming in Bridge Square with the rest of us…)

But let us focus on continuing to make history ourselves:

On Thursday, July 13th, it’s the Songs of Hope and Pie on the Square.

On Thursday, July 20th, it’s the 1st Annual Taste of Northfield with Local Musicians.

On Thursday, July 27th, it’s the Opening Concert of the Vintage Band Festival and Crazy Daze.

On Thursday, August 3rd, it’s the Bridge Chamber Music Festival and ArtSwirl.
