KRLX 88.1 FM, Carleton College’s radio station, will host its first-ever music festival this Saturday, January 19, 2008. The free, all-ages festival, known as the KRLX Winter Rock, will include six different bands from Northfield and the Twin Cities playing at four different venues around downtown.
The event, structured as a series of concerts, will begin at 6:30 pm at Grezzo Gallery, continue at 7:45 with a performance at Hogan Brothers’ Acoustic Cafe, hop an 8:45 bus for a visit to Carleton’s on-campus nightclub, the Cave, and end with a midnight show at The Contented Cow.
Personally, I’d call it a Klub Krawl. It’s another sign of the vibrancy of Northfield’s creative community.
