Way, Way, Way Back and Gone…the Weekend Begins

Tonight, Thursday, April 23rd, it’s a Vintage Baseball Event, with the Northfield Historical Society and its vintage baseball team, the Northfield Silver Stars, 6 to 8 p.m., Tiny’s Dogs All Day, Karaoke, 9 p.m., Froggy Bottoms, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, 10 p.m., Haugen Theater, St. Olaf College campus, The Ericksons at the Contented Cow, and Mark Mraz at the Tavern Lounge, riverside of the historic Archer House.

Tomorrow, Friday, April 24th, there’s a Jewelry Opening, 4 to 8 p.m., Barefoot Studio, Carey Langer, 5 p.m., the Contented Cow, a Contra Dance, 7 to 10:30 p.m., Sayles-Hill Hall, Carleton College campus, Healthfinders Dinner Theater, 7 to 10 p.m., Grand Event Center, Diary of a Scoundrel, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, The Mouse that Roared, 7:30 p.m., ARTech, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Middle School Auditorium, Early Music Singers/Collegium Musician Concert, 7:30 p.m., Boe Memorial Chapel, St. Olaf College campus, Karaoke, 9 p.m., Rueb-N-Stein, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, 10 p.m., Haugen Theater, St. Olaf College campus, and The Last Known Whereabouts (voted Northfield’s Best Band) at the Contented Cow.

  1. Looks like the Tuition Daddies are playing at Hogan Brothers Acoustic Cafe this Saturday night, I think from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

    I love their band name, I’ve heard good things about their music…anybody know who they are?

  2. Oops, I missed Jess and Zeb at the Tavern Lounge on Friday night.

    Apparently they’re a talented team on violin and guitar from St. Paul.
