The Sixth Annual ArtSwirl Celebration of the Arts will be held Thursday August 13th through Sunday August 16th.
This year’s event includes a family-friendly kick-off in Bridge Square with Kids’ Art Activities and Savage Aural Hotbed on Thursday, a Downtown Studio/Gallery Crawl and Butch Thompson and his All Stars at The Grand on Friday, Shop 4 Art: a special promotion of downtown retailers who sell locally-designed, hand-crafted products 52 weeks per year and a Lowbrow-High Octane Art Show and Hot Rod Rally on Saturday, and a Japanese Garden Tour and Policy and a Pint Discussion on Sunday.
Well, I know from Mayor Rossing that it’s not too early to mention the Mayor’s Tour d’Art Bike Ride with the Mayors of Dundas and Northfield on Saturday morning.
