Imagine me saying that in Hank Jr.’s voice.
This Saturday, October 3rd, Carleton College hosts St. Olaf College in the Northfield Collegiate Football Championship. The rivalry is one of college football’s oldest, going back to the first “official” game in 1918.
Both teams have a winning record this season and both teams were quite competitive in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference last year. Regardless of the teams’ records, however, the game is always a big event for the Northfield community.
It’s homecoming for Carleton; the Knights host the Oles in Laird Stadium for a 1 p.m. kick-off. So, you ready for some football?
