Big Night in Downtown Northfield

soren_kierkegaardThursday, November 5th, is a big night in downtown Northfield.  The Fine Craft Collective has moved to a new expanded space at 200 Division Street and is holding an Artists’ Reception from 5 to 8 p.m.

But wait, there’s more…Jill Enestvedt and Krin Finger are opening Studio Elements, also from 5 to 8 p.m.  It’s a monthly market of fine art, unique gifts, and fun junk, at 16 Bridge Square.

Hold on, there’s even more…an Opening Reception for “Transcending the Intentional” , a show by three Minnesota artists, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Northfield Arts Guild.

Also on Thursday, it’s Ghosts by the Release Dance Company of Northfield, 7 p.m., Northfield Middle School, Andrew Burgess on Bonhoeffer’s understanding of Kierkegaard, 7 p.m., Dittman Center on the St. Olaf College campus, Lecture/Booksigning by Dr. Henry Emmons, 7 p.m., Monarch Gift Shop, St. Olaf Orchestra Concert, 7:30 p.m., Skoglund Center on the St. Olaf College campus, Carey Langer, 8 p.m., Tavern Lounge (riverside of the Archer House), Karaoke at Froggy Bottoms and Area 51 at the Contented Cow.
