There’s quite a variety of artistic activities in our beloved art town this weekend.  It all begins Thursday night.

Thursday, February 25th, it’s Write About 50 (years of the Northfield Arts Guild), 7:30 p.m., NAG Center for the Arts Dance Studio, Harvest Documentary Premiere, 7 p.m., Northfield High School Auditorium, Mark Mraz, 8 to 11 p.m., the Tavern Lounge, and Karaoke, 9:30 p.m., Froggy Bottoms.

Friday, February 26th, Gallery Exhibit Opening Reception – Arabesque: Judy Onoforio and Jennifer Onoforio, 6 to 8 p.m., Flaten Art Museum on the St. Olaf College campus, Musical Migrations, 7 p.m., Urness Recital Hall on the St. Olaf College campus, Marty Anderson and the Goods, 7 to 11 p.m., the Tavern Lounge, The Deportee’s Wife, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, Angels in America – Millennium Approaches, 8 p.m., Arena Theater on the Carleton College campus, We Speak, 8 p.m., Concert Hall on the Carleton College campus, D J Music at Froggy Bottoms and Dime Store Watch at the Contented Cow.

Saturday, February 27th, Kidzing Choral Festival, 2:30 p.m., Bridgewater School, February Frolic with The Zillionaires, 7 to 10 p.m., Northfield Senior Center, Jeff Ray, 7 to 11 p.m., the Tavern Lounge, Chicago, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, Angels in America – Millennium Approaches, 8 p.m., Arena Theater on the Carleton College campus, Carleton College Singers and Carleton College Choir, 8 to 9:30 p.m., Concert Hall on the Carleton College, D J Music, 9 p.m., Rueb’N’Stein,  and the Beguine Brothers at the Contented Cow.

Sunday, February 28th, Chicago, 2 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, Politics and a Pint, 6 p.m., Northern Roots Session, 7 p.m., and Quiz Night, 8 p.m., all at the Contented Cow.
