  1. A weekend update to the weekend update:

    It’s the Northfield Historical Society’s Annual Membership Ball at Great Hall on the Carleton College campus. The party starts at 7:00 p.m. There will be a short meeting at about 8:00 and then Christina Schweitz and Sweet Jazz will provide the music.
