Celebrate the 100th with Jazz at the Carnegie

The Northfield Carnegie Library is 100 years old this month and there are a number of events to celebrate the centennial.  Saturday night, it’s Jazz at the Carnegie!

Thursday, April 8th, it’s Tom Trenney, 6 p.m., Boe Chapel on the St. Olaf College campus, Scream Night with The Key Kids, 7 p.m., Contented Cow, and Assassins, 7:30 p.m., Kelsey Theater on the St. Olaf College campus.

Friday, April 9th, it’s Tim Freeland, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Butler’s Steak & Ale, Mr. Sticky, 7 to 11 p.m., Tavern Lounge, Clarinet Choir and Youth Clarinet Ensemble, 7 p.m., Urness Hall on the St. Olaf College campus, Bingo for the March of Dimes, 7 p.m., Eagles Club, Assassins, 7:30 p.m., Kelsey Theater on the St. Olaf College campus, Proof, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, The Woodward Guest Artist Concert, 8 to 9:30 p.m., Concert Hall on the Carleton College campus, Area 51, 8 p.m., Contented Cow, and Jersey Shore Night, 10 p.m., Froggy Bottoms.

Saturday, April 10th, it’s Barb Piper, 5 p.m., Contented Cow, Wendy Russell, 6:30 to 9 p.m., Butler’s Steak & Ale, Bonnie and the Clydes, 7 to 11 p.m., Tavern Lounge, Occasional Jazz, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Northfield Carnegie Library, Assassins, 7:30 p.m., Kelsey Theater on the St. Olaf College campus, Proof, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater, Chance Meeting, 8 p.m., Contented Cow, and Live Jazz at Butler’s Steak & Ale.
