It’s been four years but it’ll be well worth the wait.  The Vintage Band Festival (VBF) returns to Northfield, starting this week.  The VBF runs from Thursday, August, 5th through Sunday, August 8th.

Twenty-five bands from around the state, country, and world will play one hundred concerts in and around Northfield.  Almost all of the concerts and public events are free.

During the day, you can find concerts in the neighborhoods throughout Northfield.  By 5 p.m., everything will be in the heart of our community, Bridge Square.  After 8:30, they’ll perform in the clubs, pubs, and taverns of downtown.

First National Bank of Northfield has generously opened the building at 25 Bridge Square (the former Community Bank) for the VBF Headquarters, which will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the Festival.  For information 24/7, go to the Vintage Band Festival website.
