Over the past several years, a few local Nordic music fans have been luring touring musicians from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden to Northfield for some very special performances.  There’s another such event this Saturday night.  Kardemimmit, a Finnish folk music group of four young women who sing and play the kantele (national instrument of Finland), will be performing at the Contented Cow.

Sunday, September 15th: Wake-Robin, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Bittersweet Cafe; and Quiz Night, 8:00 p.m., Contented Cow.
