Wendy Smith to Open for Eilen Jewel in Downtown Northfield, MN

EilenJewelEverybody’s favorite local musician, Wendy Smith, is opening for the “queen of the minor key” at the 411 Concert Series on Saturday night.  You can’t beat this quote about Eilen Jewel from the Los Angeles Daily News, “Sometimes as darkly damaged as Lucinda Williams, at others as defiant and teasing as prime Peggy Lee and always authentically Americana in the Gilliam Welch tradition…She’s mighty good.”  And you know what they say about Wendy.
