Last week members of the NDDC Board passed through the construction zone and dined at long-time downtown favorite Mandarin Garden.  It was good times and great food.

The April Board Visit was to a relatively new business in downtown, Fit to be Tri’d.  Owner Tom Bisel told the NDDC visitors that no matter what their fitness goals, he has the products and the knowledge to help achieve them.

A delegation of the NDDC Board visited with Liz Messner, owner of Aquatic Pets.  I tease with the use of the word “delegation” because at the end of our visit, Liz revealed that she is a leader in the community of Waterford Township and we chatted a bit about Northfield’s recent annexation efforts. As part of their on-going business visit program, members of the NDDC Board of Directors dropped in on the Community Resource Bank.  President Don Kuehnast graciously gave generously of his time.
