We have it on good authority (the landlord) that Chapati: A Taste of India restaurant currently located in the Archer House has just signed a multi-year lease to remain right where it is. This is tremendous news for the Archer House, owners Norman Butler and Diane Burry, downtown Northfield, and all lovers of good Indian cuisine and relaxed dining.
The search for a permanent home for the five-year-old restaurant began in the summer of 2002 and has had a prominent place in Northfield news and politics for much of that time. We’re delighted that landlord and tenant have reached an accord and congratulate both of them on a job well done.
