Arts Advocacy Day is March 9th

It’s advocacy time at the State Capital. In a posting at northfield.org, The Cannon River Watershed Partnership invites citizens to join others in a lobbying effort for clean water at the state capitol on Tuesday, March 14 from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m.

There’s another and earlier opportunity for advocacy, the Minnesota Citizens for the Arts invites you to join your fellow arts advocates for Arts Advocacy Day, March 9, 2006, from 8 am to 1 pm, at the MN History Center and State Capitol to talk about the arts, make new friends, and educate our legislators about the importance of the arts to Minnesota. Find out more at Minnesota Citizens for the Arts.

If you are available and motivated, please join your fellow citizens at the Capitol. The NDDC believes that both the Cannon River and Local Arts are important for community health and economic vitality.
