It’s the return of Girls Nite Out! From what I’ve heard from the over 400 women who participated last year, it was a heck of a lot of fun. So you girls, of all ages, come on down(town), for a night of shopping, socializing, prizes and pampering, from 5 pm to 1 am, tonight, Friday, May 9th, in beautiful, pedestrian-friendly, authentic, and welcoming Downtown Northfield.
Also tonight, there’s Art Sneak Preview, 5 pm at ArtOnWater Gallery, my personal favorite, Occasional Jazz, tonight as a quartet, 5 pm at the Contented Cow, Quade One Act Festival, 7 pm at St. Olaf College, Celtic Cat and Prairie Dog, 7 pm at Hogan Brothers, Kim Bloom, 7 pm at The HideAway, The Trip to Bountiful, 7:30 pm at the Arts Guild Theater, Holiday, 7:30 pm at the High School Auditorium, the St. Olaf Orchestra, 7:30 pm at Boe Chapel on the St. Olaf Campus, Romeo and Juliet, 8 pm at the Arena Theater on the Carleton Campus, the Carleton Jazz Ensemble, 8 pm at the Concert Hall on the Carleton Campus, the Return of 51 with Ray and Dan, at The Contented Cow and Kevin Stanke at the Tavern Lounge.
Saturday, May 10th, there is an Artist Lecture and Exhibition Opening Reception with Annette Lee and William Wilson, 3 to 9 pm at ArtOnWater Gallery, Blue Moon, 6:30 pm, and Scandium, 8:30 pm, at The Contented Cow, Quade One Act Festival, at St. Olaf, The Trip to Bountiful at the Arts Guild Theater, Holiday at the High School Auditorium, Romeo and Juliet at Carleton, and Relativity at the Tavern Lounge.
