This weekend begins with the first Gallery Crawl of the season.

Yes, it’s Spring and Northfield’s galleries will be crawling with art, artists, art-lovers and artist-lovers. It’s Friday, April 3rd, 6 to 9 p.m., at ArtOnWater, Barefoot Studio, Grezzo Gallery, The Key, Northfield Arts Guild, Right Brain Ventures, and Sketchy Artist. Then it’s the Jailhouse Rock to Benefit Holiday Decorations Drive, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., at the Grand Event Center, 316 Washington Street. An auction of some great packages, along with some great socializing, in the Historic Grand, to replace the tattered holiday decorations.

Saturday, April 4th, it’s Theater: The Life of Galileo, 2 and 7:30 p.m., Kelsey Theater, St. Olaf Campus, Harp Ensemble, 3:30 p.m., Northfield Retirement Center, Spruce Top Review, 7 p.m., The Contented Cow, Veselica International Dance Ensemble Spring Concert, 7:30 p.m. Dittman Center, St. Olaf College, and Jon Manners at the Tavern Lounge.
