Saturday, May 9th, International Festival, 2 to 4 p.m., Sayles-Hill Great Space on the Carleton College campus, John Milbauer Concert, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Concert Hall on the Carleton College campus, Promicide, 7:30 p.m., High School Auditorium, In/Bed/Dead, 8 p.m., Arena Theater on the Carleton College campus, Bonnie & the Clydes, 8 to 11 p.m., the Tavern Lounge, D. J. Music at the Rueb-N-Stein, and Jasper Lepak and Art Vandalay at the Contented Cow.

Then Sunday, May 10th, (that would be Mother’s Day), there’s a St. Olaf Orchestra Concert, 3:30 p.m., Skoglund Center on the St. Olaf College campus, Politics and a Pint, 6 p.m., the Contented Cow, Northern Roots Session, 7:30 p.m., the Contented Cow, Utopia Limited Opera, 8 p.m., Urness Recital Hall on the St. Olaf College campus, and Quiz Night, 8 p.m., the Contented Cow.

  1. Carleton is hosting both the MIAC Track & Field and Baseball Championships May 8-9-10.

    MIAC Track and Field Championships begin at Laird Stadium on Friday, May 8, 2:00 PM, and on Saturday, May 9, at 1:00 PM.

    MIAC Baseball Championship begins on Friday, May 8, at Memorial Field in Dundas. The Knights game time is 3:30 PM playing St. Thomas. Game 2 is at 7:00 PM, both location and opponent TBD.
