Living the Artist’s Life in Northfield

BarbMatzArtistThe NDDC’s special ArtSwirl edition of the Downtown Forum is titled “Living the Artist’s Life in Northfield”.  It features a panel of four local artists discussing their experiences working in our community.

Barb Matz, Jennifer Wolcott, Nick Sinclair, and Shari Setchell will discuss their art, why they located in Northfield, how the Northfield community is supportive of artists, and what the community might do to provide greater support for artists.  Some people have suggested that it is a conversation that is long overdue.

The NDDC Forum will be held Tuesday, August 11th, 8 a.m., in the Riverview Conference Room of the historic Archer House, 212 Division Street.  As always, the Forum is free and open to the public.

Coffee and cookies will be served.

  1. Ross..off to the big city to get some things (not avail locally) for my gallery re-opening for ArtSwirl 2009…so will miss your forum…Note that the Riverwalk Arts Quarter team is working hard in the background getting through our tedious process towards our Nov launch for an active, sustainable ‘arts entrepreneur’ focused-2010 season…but promise a worth-waiting-for-update to the community soon…Dean
