Yes, at least as far as I’m concerned, the NDDC’s 10th Birthday Party (Saturday night) is the big event this weekend.  Have I mentioned that we have FOUR Local Bands (Scandium, Matt Arthur & the Bratlanders, Meredith Fierke, and T.V. & the Bellered Yellers)…free admission (The Grand), free food, free music, cash bar and lots of fun!

But, as usual, there’s a whole lot more going on downtown of our little art town in the Big Woods…

Thursday, January 21st, it’s an Exhibit Opening Reception for a retrospective of the Northfield Arts Guild, 6 to 8 p.m., Northfield Historical Society, Chris Herriges, 7 to 11 p.m., The Tavern Lounge, and Karaoke, 9:30 p.m., Froggy Bottoms.

Friday, January 22nd, Piano by Chuck Godwin, 6 to 9 p.m., Butler’s Steak & Ale, (the return of Northfield favorite) Mr. Sticky, 7 to 11 p.m., The Tavern Lounge, D J Music, 9 p.m., Rueb’N’Stein, D J Music at Froggy Bottoms and Urban Hillbilly Quartet at The Contented Cow.
