The film that captures the story of Ray Jacobson’s “Harvest” sculpture will be screened this Thursday, Febuary 25th, in the Northfield High School Auditorium. The doors open at 7:00 p.m., the screening will be at 7:30 p.m., and the film will be followed by a reception.
The story follows the nearly four-year process from conception to installation of the “Harvest” sculpture. Local filmmaker Paul Krause captured the artist’s steps from cardboard model, through cast bronze, to community celebration in the Sesquicentennial Legacy Plaza.
“Harvest” represents almost unprecedented cooperation between individuals and groups over several years. Come join in the celebration of this collaboration.
