Sure, those high waters were a major tourist attraction.  But we’ve got something much better going on down along the riverside…the Riverwalk Market Fair.  It’s a great gathering, with local produce, artisan food, fine art, and quality craft, along with strolling musicians.  Catch it before the season ends!

Thursday, October 7th: it’s the Friends of the Library Spelling Bee, 7 p.m., Grand Event Center.  Yes, there’s other things happening around town Thursday night, but you should go to the Spelling Bee.  It’s a fundraiser for the Northfield Carnegie Library, celebrating its 100th birthday this year.
