Pieta Brown in Downtown…Northfield, MN

An American singer-songwriter born in Iowa City, Iowa and spending her youth between Iowa and Alabama, Pieta Brown was born to make music.  Several of her albums have won “Best of the Year” awards, and all of them have been critically acclaimed.  Well-versed in traditional American folk music, Brown is a leader in contemporary innovation for this art form.  She plays at the Arts Guild Theater on Saturday night.
