“A Minnesotan Goodbye”…This Weekend in Downtown Northfield, MN

“A Minnesotan Goodbye”, the Carleton & St. Olaf 5th Year Apprentice/Intern Exhibit, opens this weekend at the Arts Guild’s gallery in downtown Northfield.  The artwork of six St. Olaf and Carleton College art interns: Anda Tanaka, Anders Nienstaedt, Arielle Rebek, James Wilson, Justina Ny, Mathew Brutger and Sheila Novak will be featured in the Gallery through May 18.   Attending an opening reception for a new art exhibit is a pretty good way to start your weekend.

Saturday, April 27th: I Was a Rat!, 7:30 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater; Norseman Band, 7:30 p.m., Skogulund Center on the St. Olaf College campus; and Rich Prenier, 8:00 p.m., Tavern Lounge, and Live Music: Benefit Concert for Dalton Skrove – 3 Bands, 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Contented Cow.

Sunday, April 28th: I Was a Rat!, 2:00 p.m., Northfield Arts Guild Theater; Gospel Choir, 3:30 p.m., Boe Chapel on the St. Olaf College campus; I Cantanti Chamber Choir, 7:00 p.m., Northfield Middle School Auditorium; St. Olaf Philharmonia, 7:30 p.m., Skoglund Center on the St. Olaf College campus; and Quiz Night, 8:00 p.m., Contented Cow.
