Katy Vernon is a Minneapolis/St. Paul based singer songwriter. She grew up in London, England and has been writing and singing as long as she can remember. She moved to the US after meeting her future American husband on a train from Amsterdam to Berlin. She regularly performs at a number of Twin Cities venues, was one of the first musicians to perform on Garrison Keillor’s new live show, and the mastermind behind the Twin Cities’ annual “Uke-Fest”. She performs this Friday night at The Tavern Lounge.
